Invoice Clerk / Accounts Clerk – West Midlands
Salary: £7.50 per hour

TemporaryIndustry sectors: Accountancy Invoice Clerk / Accounts Clerk required for an ongoing temporary position, which has opportunities to go permanent. This role will be within the Gas team for a large gas supplier in the area. Responsible for validating and paying a wide variety of invoices. The candidate will be required to utilise a variety of bespoke systems to enter invoice details in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring that payment request forms are authorised and passed to the Accounts Payable department to achieve payment dates.
The role will also require utilizing 3rd party query tools to interrogate information held within databases in order to ensure the validity of the invoices we are. The main skills needed for this role are: Familiarity and experience with Microsoft Office – especially Excel and Access, Good attention to detail, Accuracy ,Initiative, Numeracy, Office experience
My client is a large power retailer with offices in West Midlands, Birmingham and South. Ideally they are looking for candidates in the local area who would be willing to travel between the West Midlands and Southern branches. No exact experience in necessary. Flexible attitude is essential as is own vehicle.
